All of Iowa, as well as large portions of western Wisconsin and northwestern Illinois are under a combination of ice storm, winter weather, and freezing rain advisories until 6AM Thursday. Areas of scattered freezing rain and rain will continue throughout Thursday. Ice accumulations of a quarter to a third of an inch is possible, heaviest in Central Iowa (maybe up to .50"). This may create significant icing on trees, power lines, and roads. Power and travel are expected to be affected.
